The golf course, which plays from 5,449 yards at the yellow tees to 6,329 at the blues, Challenges players of every age and skill level. Although not long by today's standards, its tree-lined fairways, and well-bunkered, elevated greens place a premium on accurate drives and precise approaches. Tifdwarf grass was installed on all 18 greens, making The Tide's greens a joy to putt. Refreshing breezes off the bay add to the challenge and enjoyment. One unique feature of the layout that adds to its charm is the location of the first and 10th tees. Separated by only a cart path, they are both hard against the south side of the clubhouse. It's the highest ground on the property and affords spectacular views of the course, Boca Ciega Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Four holes - the second, 11th, 12th and 13th- border directly on Boca Ciega Bay. A new set of forward tees are perfect for young juniors and seniors.
