Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club is one of the oldest golf courses in the Tampa Bay area. Recently the club has had the honor of being eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places. Designed and built by renowned architect Tom Bendelow, Temple Terrace Golf and Country Club opened in 1922. During the early 1900s Mr. Bendelow built over 400 courses including Palma Ceia in Tampa and Medinah in Chicago. Temple Terrace’s unique design features no parallel fairways. 

Designed by Steve Smyers, this beautifully mature and meticulously maintained course meanders through Cheval Development's gated community where cypress trees abound along with native Florida wildlife including deer, alligators, otters, eagles, wading birds and more.
