Oak Grove is built on the site of the former Bull Valley Hunt Club, where hunters looked for their best shot. It's come full circle, only now were hunting different kinds of birdies. Activity on the site dates back to the mid 1800's. These activities ranged from growing crops to dairy farming and even included a former railroad line. There are remnants of a historic farmstead and cabin on the site. Several of these sensitive archeological areas on the property have been preserved and were painstakingly avoided during the development of the course.
