PGA champion Davis Love III made Laurel Island Links, located just six miles north of the Georgia border off I-95, the second course in his design portfolio when it opened in 1996. The King & BearThe course features loblolly pines and open meadows on the front nine while the natural beauty of 200-year-old live oaks with huge, shady canopies perfectly complement the back nine. The signature feature of the course is lakes lined with large coquina rocks, and coquina is also incorporated into several bunkers and cart paths. Measuring 7,279 yards from the stone tees and 5,119 from the green tees, this course is sure to challenge the skilled golfer while providing player-friendly conditions for the novice.

Residing on a delicate Northeast Florida barrier island, Amelia River Golf Club, formerly Royal Amelia, is an example of a golf course in perfect harmony with nature. This Tom Jackson-design is renowned as one of the best-conditioned courses in the area with incredibly smooth and spacious TifEagle greens and abundant natural water hazards.

Amelia River consists of 18 holes of challenging golf with wide and open fairways giving the golfer a sense of a traditional Scottish Links course. At Amelia River, ball control and accuracy are two essential elements to a successful round.

The Slammer & Squire, along with the entire World Golf Village, was designed to honor the great game of golf and its players. Named for legendary player consultants – Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen – Slammer & Squire has hosted six nationally televised events, fittingly including the Legends of Golf, a champions TOUR event, as well as a thrilling Shell’s Wonderful World of Golf match between Gary Player and Lee Trevino.

Designed by Bobby Weed, The Slammer & Squire features two distinctive nines. The front side meanders through an old pine forest linked together with wetland corridors to protect the indigenous vegetation and wildlife. The back nine finishes with a breathtaking view of the World Golf Hall of Fame that towers above the 18th green. 

Enormous live oaks, dripping with Spanish moss grace the Mark McCumber Royal Course, a masterpiece chiseled out of 1,000 acres of native woodland and surrounding marsh. The breathtaking magnitude of the par 72 course provides a challenge that is appreciated by professionals and amateurs alike.
 

They’re not making them like Hyde Park Golf Club anymore. Visitors can play virtually the same course designed by the legendary Scottish architect Donald Ross in 1925.

The gorgeous Southern pines and Spanish oaks that line the course are even more mature and majestic than they were 80 years ago, and lend a special aura to the playing experience. Fleming Island Club’s excellent facilities are a fitting introduction to the exciting par-71 design of Bobby Weed. Five tee settings offer yardages ranging from 4,881 to 6,801. From a blank canvas of ordinary timber and wetlands, Weed sketched two nines of differently styled golf.
