Located in Algonquin, less than an hour’s drive from the center of Chicago, this links-style layout contains all the aspects of Old World golf you’ve come to know and love – zero trees, native fescue grasses, rolling terrain, moguls, wide open fairways and plenty of sand bunkers. Designed by Dick Nugent, Golf Club of Illinois was once home to the longest par 5 in the country. The 678- yard par-5 11th has been surpassed in length, but it’s still one of the most popular holes in the Chicagoland region and a true three-shot test.Cart fees included unless otherwise stated. Player must call in advance for a Tee Time and is required to notify the course of certificate from Tee Time Savings. Valid Mon-Fri anytime. Sat-Sun after 12 PM. No Holidays.
