Oak Knoll Golf Course is proud to offer many amenities that golfers have come to expect on a Championship course. Oak Knoll is the inspiration of Dr. Otto Wickstrom and his wife, Erma. The course is caved out of 290 acres which consisted of woods, hills, streams, and open fields. Names after the Oak trees that have been preserved along with the natural landscape, Oak Knoll promises to be a great choice for area golfers of any skill or age. The complete links style design was geared by Clyde Johnston Designs, Inc. with Fuzzy Zoeller to be both challenging to experienced players as well as playable by higher handicappers. Fuzzy Zoellers Covered Bridge Golf Club opened in 1994 to rave reviews. The course, built in rolling foothills of southern Indiana, is often described as fun and challenging by golfers of all skill levels. Golfers also love playing off of the Zoysia grass tees and fairways, and putting on the beautiful and healthy greens. Approximately 50 sand traps guard the greens and fairways and the course features five lakes and a meandering creek. The water hazards come into play on nine holes,and they do make the holes a bit more challenging. The greens are mostly large and slightly sloped, with medium speed.
